Ground rules for the RagSap beta.
Last updated: 23 July 2026 · These terms apply to everyone using RagSap during beta.
By using RagSap you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. We tried to keep the language readable — this isn't a contract designed to trap you.
1 · What RagSap does
RagSap lets you ("the builder") create AI-powered chatbots from documents and website content you own or are licensed to use, and share them with your visitors via a public link or an embeddable widget.
2 · Your account
- You sign in with Google. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure.
- One account per person. Don't share credentials.
- You must be at least 13 years old. If you're operating on behalf of a company, you confirm you're authorised to bind that company.
3 · Content you upload
- You own it. Uploading documents to RagSap doesn't transfer ownership to us.
- You give us permission to process it. To run your bot we need to chunk, embed, store, and send it to our AI processor (currently OpenAI) when a visitor asks a question.
- You promise it's yours to upload. You warrant that you have the right to upload the content — no scraped copyrighted material you don't own, no leaked internal documents that aren't yours, no personal data about others without a lawful basis.
4 · Acceptable use
Don't use RagSap to:
- Impersonate a real person, brand, or institution.
- Build a chatbot that gives medical, legal, or financial advice as if it were qualified professional advice.
- Collect personal information from visitors under false pretences (phishing, credential harvesting).
- Generate or distribute content that is illegal, threatening, defamatory, or that infringes IP rights.
- Circumvent rate limits, ownership checks, or other technical protections.
- Send spam or abusive automated traffic to our API.
- Reverse-engineer or resell the service without our written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or delete any bot or account that violates these rules.
5 · AI outputs — what to expect
RagSap answers come from an LLM. Even with hybrid retrieval and guardrails, the model may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected answers. You are responsible for:
- Reviewing the bot's outputs before relying on them for anything important.
- Warning your visitors that answers are AI-generated and should be verified.
- Not presenting the bot as human.
6 · Beta service, no warranty
RagSap is provided "as is" during beta, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees about availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
7 · Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, RagSap is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising from your use of the service. Because the service is free during beta, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to USD 100.
8 · Changes to the service
We may add, change, or remove features at any time during beta. When paid plans launch, existing free bots will continue on a free tier for at least 30 days after we announce pricing, so you have time to decide.
9 · Termination
- By you: delete a bot from the dashboard at any time. To close your entire account, email [email protected].
- By us: we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, put us at legal risk, or place unreasonable load on our systems. Where practical we'll notify you first.
10 · Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the "Last updated" date at the top, and for material changes we'll email signed-in builders. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
